Jorge Zuloaga (guitar & vocals), Sergio Delgado (guitar, piano & vocals) and Manu Portero (bass guitar & vocals) make up CommonPlace, a Madrid-based folk-rock band.
CommonPlace was first created in Mexico in 2014, as Jorge´s personal project. When he returned to Spain, Manu Portero and Sergio Delgado joined him and the three decided to start a new, approachable and fresh project together fit for all audiences.
In 2016 they started to record their first EP “CommonPlace” which was completely self-managed, and just one year later they began the process of their second EP at Estudio Uno, a project that quickly turned into an album. From this moment on CommonPlace began working on the album “Growth” with Manuel Colmenero at Sonobox Studios
Halfway between folk and pop-rock, and having influences of artists such as Mumford & Sons, James Bay or Vance Joy, CommonPlace experiments with all types of sound, from intimate acoustics to energetic rhythms. With their new album they have found a more special and modern sound, marking a new path in their career.
